Hours and Shipping Information:
We are usually in the office certain hours of the day. Email is always the fastest communication. If you need an order shipped urgently, please email us.
TURNAROUND TIME AS OF 6/30/10: Minimum 2-4 business days before an order will ship. Please allow at least 7-10 days for your order to arrive. Shipping estimates are sent with order confirmations. Please read and allow your order to arrive or to receive tracking emails before requesting tracking information. Your tracking info will always be sent to the email provided upon checkout. We thank you for your patience.
USPS Priority offers 2-3 day shipping and FedEx ships to most places in the US within 2-4 business days. We ship as quick as possible so please plan your orders accordingly. This does NOT mean that you will receive your order in 2-3 days from placing. This is the transit time offered by the shipping carrier and may take longer once it leaves our warehouse. Please read our terms and conditions before purchasing. If you need an order to ship same day, please select an Express option (Express, 2Day, Overnight) and contact us. Express shipping is still subject to our shipping terms but we will try our best to accomodate rush orders.
We currently ship to the United States and YES, we do ship International!! Checkout as usual and choose your International Shipping Method. If you select a US shipping carrier, your order will be canceled. Please contact us for an international shipping quote for larger orders. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.
All orders will be shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail Service or Fed Ex. Most larger weight orders will ship via Fed Ex. If this is a problem, please contact us immediately. Shipping is based on total merchandise weight and packaging available (plus a $2.00 handling fee to cover the cost of packing materials).
Please note: If you select FedEx Business delivery and your address is found to be residential, we will hold your order to either (1) invoice you the correct amount; or (2) send your order with a method that is inclusive of the cost. If your address is residential, you must select Home Delivery.
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-4 business days of the receipt of payment. Google Checkout and Merchant Processing orders take at least 2-3 business days while Paypal orders may ship quicker. (Orders paid for via check or money order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared. This may take up to 10 business days including the amount of time it takes for us to receive the payment from you.)

This schedule is not concrete. Some orders will ship faster. Please add an extra day for any holidays. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the shipping carrier or the Shea N More website when your order has been shipped. This e-mail will include your tracking number. Delivery confirmation is included on each order. Delivery confirmation simply confirms that the package arrived safely at its destination. This means that information regarding your shipment may not be available until after it has reached your door.
We will pack your items with care. (In kindness to our environment, we will recycle shipping materials/boxes as much as possible.) We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged after leaving our warehouse. If you would like your package insured, please indicate this in the special instructions. If you would like a signature to be required with your shipment, you must also note this in the instructions. If no signature is required, we cannot be responsible for items that have been lost or damaged by the shipping carrier. If your order is lost, please CONTACT US first and we will do our best to rectify the situation.
Please Note: If your billing and shipping addresses do not match, we cannot be responsible for an order that is not received.
Warm Weather Shipping
Because our products are susceptible to heat, during the warm weather months (May-September), shea butter will be packed with materials to keep products cooler. During these months, the handling fee will increase. Some items will be shipped with cold packs to ensure proper delivery. Please also understand that sometimes the cold pack does not last the entire trip for further destinations. Most last only 1-2 days and that depends on the outside temperature. We do our best to pack for those but cannot guarantee that all orders will not melt during transit.
Refused/Damaged/Missing Item Shipments
Any order that is refused and sent back to us (other than for damage claims) will be charged a 10% restocking fee along with the cost of returning the package back to us. We will refund the purchase price only, minus the above charges. If you would like to return your item, you must have prior approval from us first or these rules will apply.
***If your order arrives to you damaged, please refuse it and notify us. We will do our best to ship promptly whatever was damaged in transit; however, we will not be able to replace damaged items via air services. Email is the best notification and there will be a written record. For any missing/wrong items, if you find that an item is missing from your order or that we sent you the wrong item/size/etc., please notify us within 3 days of your receipt of the order. We cannot accept damaged/missing/wrong item reports once the 3 days are up. Please note that very small items such as tiny vials of essential oils are usually wrapped securely with kraft paper and/or tucked in small bags and taped; this prevents tiny items from getting lost among all the packing materials.
Out of Stock Items
We may find that an item is out of stock even if it is showing as available on our website. This may not be found until we are picking your order. If this happens, we will either ship your order short and the replacement later, notify you, or we will reimburse you for the missing item.
